Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 7, 2026

Welcome to Design Hive. These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you request or purchase design services from Design Hive.

By requesting a design or proceeding with a paid project, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Design Hive provides digital graphic-design services, which may include:

- Logos

- Invitations

- Menus

- Posters

- Phone wallpapers

- Social-media graphics

- Promotional graphics

- Other similar digital designs offered through the website

The exact service, price, specifications, and deliverables will be confirmed with the customer before the project proceeds.

2. How the Design Process Works

The general Design Hive process is:

1. The customer views our designs and submits a request through our website.

2. Design Hive reviews the request and contacts the customer regarding the project.

3. The project requirements, price, and deliverables are confirmed.

4. Design Hive creates a design preview.

5. The customer may request up to 2 reasonable revisions.

6. A revised preview is provided where applicable.

7. Once the customer approves the preview, payment is required before the final design file is delivered.

8. After successful payment, Design Hive provides the final agreed deliverable.

Submitting a request does not automatically create an order or guarantee that Design Hive will accept the project.

3. Design Previews

Any preview, draft, screenshot, watermarked image, or low-resolution version provided before payment is provided for review and approval only.

Before payment and final delivery, the customer may not use, publish, sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the preview without permission from Design Hive.

4. Revisions

Each project includes up to 2 reasonable revisions, unless a different number is agreed in writing before the project begins.

A revision means a reasonable change to the agreed design, such as changing colors, text, placement, or other reasonable layout details.

A completely new concept or substantial change to the original project may be treated as a new request or may require an additional fee.

Any additional fee will be communicated before additional work begins.

5. Customer-Provided Materials

If you provide photographs, logos, text, artwork, fonts, trademarks, or other materials, you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them.

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or licenses for materials that you provide.

You agree not to ask Design Hive to knowingly create content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

6. Canva and Third-Party Elements

Some Design Hive designs may be created using Canva and/or other third-party design tools and assets.

Where third-party templates, graphics, photographs, fonts, or other licensed materials are used, their applicable licenses and restrictions continue to apply.

Design Hive does not represent that every individual element used in a design is exclusively owned by Design Hive.

The customer's rights to use a completed design may therefore be subject to applicable third-party license terms.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment gives the customer the right to use the final agreed design for the purpose agreed with Design Hive.

This does not automatically transfer ownership of:

- Canva's underlying templates or elements

- Third-party stock images or assets

- Fonts or other licensed materials

- Design Hive's pre-existing materials

- Design Hive's general design methods, techniques, or know-how

If a project requires an exclusive transfer of specific rights, that arrangement must be agreed separately in writing.

8. Portfolio Use

Unless the customer requests otherwise before the project is completed, Design Hive may display completed work in its portfolio, website, social-media pages, or promotional materials to demonstrate its work.

Customers who require their project to remain private should inform Design Hive before the project begins.

9. Payment

The customer must pay the agreed price before the final design file is delivered.

Payment methods may include PayPal, UPI, or another payment method specifically offered by Design Hive.

Payment instructions will normally be provided after the customer has reviewed and approved the design preview.

Customers should never send passwords, payment PINs, card security codes, or account passwords to Design Hive.

10. Refunds and Cancellations

Because Design Hive provides customized design services, refunds are handled according to the stage of the project and applicable law.

No payment is normally required until the customer has reviewed and approved the design preview.

Once the customer approves the preview and makes payment, the final design file will be prepared and delivered.

If Design Hive is unable to deliver the approved design, the customer may request a refund.

Once the final design has been delivered, refunds are generally not available for a change of mind because the design has been customized and delivered.

If there is a significant problem with the delivered design that does not match the approved preview, the customer should contact Design Hive within 7 days of delivery. We will reasonably work with the customer to correct the issue where appropriate.

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or limit any consumer or legal rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Delivery

Final designs will normally be delivered digitally by email or another agreed digital delivery method.

Delivery time depends on project complexity, customer responsiveness, required materials, and the number of revisions.

Delays caused by missing information, late responses, or requested changes may affect the delivery time.

12. Customer Approval

Once the customer approves a preview, Design Hive will use the approved version as the basis for the final deliverable.

The customer is responsible for checking names, spelling, dates, addresses, phone numbers, and other information before giving final approval.

Design Hive is not responsible for errors in customer-provided information that the customer approved.

13. Website Content

Design Hive's website content, including designs, images, text, branding, and other materials, may belong to Design Hive or may be used under applicable licenses.

You may not copy, reproduce, sell, redistribute, or commercially reuse website content without appropriate permission.

14. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Design Hive website or services to request or distribute content that:

- Is illegal

- Infringes another person's intellectual-property rights

- Fraudulently impersonates another person or business

- Violates another person's privacy or rights

- Violates applicable laws or regulations

Design Hive may refuse a request that it reasonably believes violates these Terms or applicable law.

15. Website Information

We try to keep the information on the Design Hive website accurate, but occasional errors may occur.

Design Hive may correct errors, update information, change service offerings, or discontinue services when necessary.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Design Hive will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of the website or services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. Third-Party Services

Design Hive may use or link to third-party services such as Squarespace, Canva, PayPal, or other platforms.

Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies, licenses, and rules.

Design Hive is not responsible for the availability, security, policies, or actions of third-party services.

18. Changes to These Terms

Design Hive may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

19. Applicable Law

These Terms are subject to the laws applicable to Design Hive and the relevant transaction, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to the customer.
